by: Terrorbyte

Tales from the Encryptid ˸ Freakquency is a VRChat world by Terrorbyte, released in March 2026. It runs on PC, Quest, and holds up to 64 players per instance.

Perched on a lonely mountain ridge‚ this remote radio outpost is a sanctuary for those who find comfort in the shadows․ Tales from the Encryptid˸ Freakquency is a total reimagining of a classic‚ rebuilt from the ground up to strike a delicate balance between a relaxing social lounge and a living nightmare․ Settle into the vintage atmosphere and immerse yourself in a curated library of over 70 spine-chilling stories brought to life by the legendary voices of Chilling Tales for Dark Nights․ While it serves as the perfect retreat to unwind with friends‚ the frequency is notoriously unstable; the room is reactive‚ featuring randomized scares and hidden environmental triggers that ensure no two visits are ever truly the same․ Whether you are here for the high-fidelity storytelling or to test your nerves against the mountain's whispers‚ remember that out here‚ the static always has something to say․
