Quest for Islands in Space
by: Artist3d
Quest for Islands in Space is a smaller VRChat world by Artist3d, released in August 2023. It runs on PC, Quest, and holds up to 72 players per instance.
Islands in Space takes a lot of artistic license to bring VR users into a virtualized version of the album I produced way back in 1981 of the same name․ I built this experiential to share the music and visuals I imagined from the cover art painting I did for the vinyl release․ This was actually one of my first contributions to the VRChat network and I hope Quest users will enjoy finally getting access to it․ It has been a bit of work to optimize it to fit under 100 megs to be sure but I am happy with the result․ Enjoy this unique VR version of the album․
